There were two main areas of work required at this school. The first was the new lighting, emergency lighting, power, door access, data and distribution systems required for the recently constructed 3-storey infill building. This infill building consisted of new classrooms, dining area and fully operational kitchen/servery as indicated within the specification provided by Southwark Borough Council. The works involved consisted of new steel containment throughout to enable the installation of the various systems, and the upgrading of the distribution equipment and cabling to cater for the new buildings.

The second project was the installation of a new analogue fire alarm system throughout the various buildings situated within the main school grounds of the James Allen site. This new system provides the site with a fast and accurate assessment of any alarm situation, to enable the staff to operate effectively at all times.
